The short version
Reel Cartography is funded through affiliate commissions. When you click through to an operator from this site and go on to sign up, we may receive a payment from that operator. It costs you nothing extra — the arrangement sits entirely between us and the operator.
How the links work
Buttons and links on this site that point to a casino's own website carry a tracking parameter — a short code in the web address that identifies the referral as coming from Reel Cartography. That's a standard, industry-wide mechanism and doesn't give us or the operator any extra information about you beyond the fact that you arrived via this site.
Not every link on this site is an affiliate link — links to regulators and support organisations such as the UK Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, GamCare and GambleAware are not, and we receive nothing from them.
Why this doesn't skew the scores
It's a fair question: if we're paid when you sign up, why would our comparisons be trustworthy? The answer is that commission rates play no role in how we score or write about an operator. Every operator on this site is measured against the same eight criteria — licensing, game range, live casino, mobile app, providers, welcome offer type, support and usability — and we've written just as plainly about the weaker points of an operator that pays us as about its strengths.
